Privacy Policy

PagePop Privacy Policy.

This policy explains how PagePop handles information when you use the app. It distinguishes local book processing and transfer from features that require external services.

Last updated: July 15, 2026

1. Data on your device

PagePop stores the information needed to provide its library and reading features on your device. This can include imported ebook files, generated Kindle files, book titles and authors, covers, reading status, ratings, reviews, finish dates, manual reading-calendar entries, Kindle clippings, wallpaper files, and app preferences.

PagePop’s widgets use the app’s shared local container to display selected bookshelf covers and daily excerpts. PagePop does not read your Kindle device’s reading progress.

2. Local network transfer

When you start PagePop’s file service, the app creates a temporary address on your local network. A Kindle or another device on that same network can open the address and download the books PagePop makes available.

Anyone who can access that local network and knows the temporary address may be able to reach the file service while it is running. Keep PagePop in the foreground only for the duration of your transfer, and stop the service when you are finished.

Book conversion and local-network transfer are performed by PagePop on your device and between your devices; they are not performed through Amazon’s Send to Kindle email or cloud service.

3. Features that use external services

Some PagePop features require internet access and send the information needed to complete your request to an external service. These features can include:

  • retrieving book metadata or covers from book-information providers;
  • loading the PagePop wallpaper catalog and wallpaper assets;
  • creating an ebook from a Wattpad link that you provide;
  • checking subscription status and processing in-app purchases; and
  • creating or restoring an optional iCloud backup.

Network requests necessarily include technical information such as an IP address and device/network metadata handled by the service provider. Those providers process information under their own privacy terms.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

PagePop uses Apple’s in-app purchase system and RevenueCat to offer and verify subscriptions and one-time purchases. PagePop initializes subscription services when the app starts so it can determine your current access. Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase, entitlement, device, and diagnostic information according to their own privacy policies.

The PagePop developer does not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.

5. Optional iCloud backup

PagePop Premium can create and restore a backup through your iCloud account. A backup can include the app database, imported books, generated files, covers, and preferences. This is an optional backup-and-restore feature, not live Kindle progress sync.

Your use of iCloud is governed by your agreement with Apple and your iCloud settings.

6. Retention and deletion

Local PagePop data remains on your device until you delete individual content, remove the app, or erase its data through system tools. An iCloud backup remains in your iCloud storage until it is replaced or deleted through the available backup controls and Apple account tools.

If you contact support, PagePop receives the information you choose to include in your email. Support messages are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, maintain service history, and meet legal obligations.

7. Children

PagePop is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can address the request.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when PagePop’s features or service providers change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.
